Permit Guide Procedures
ZONING PERMIT – AIRPORT HEIGHT
WHEN: An applicant is proposing structures in the jurisdiction of the Waukesha County Height Limitation Zoning Ordinance.
WHY: To regulate and restrict the height of structures, including temporary cranes, and objects of natural growth in the vicinity of the Waukesha County Airport/Crites Field in order to protect and promote the health and safety of people living and working in the vicinity of the Airport.
WHO: The staff of the Waukesha County Department of Parks and Land Use – Planning and Zoning Division reviews the Zoning Permit, and if approved, mails the issued permit to the Building Inspector, or directly to the applicant in the City of Waukesha. See Staff Who Can Help.
HOW: Applicant must submit a complete application packet and fee.
