Modification or Motion to Change

If you want to request a change or an addition to a court order when the other party will not agree to what you want changed or added then consider filing a Modification/Motion to Change. A Modification/Motion to Change tells the court that you and the other party could not agree and that you need the court to make the decision.

A Modification/Motion to Change requires that you serve the other party and that you appear in court to provide a legal argument/explanation as to why the court should rule in your favor.

Any documents supporting your Motion must be filed with the court and served on the other parties a reasonable time before the court hearing.
