Stipulation and Order to Change

If the parties agree to change a court order then you should consider filing a Stipulation. A Stipulation is a formal written agreement between the parties to change a current court order. Because it is a Stipulation neither party will need to appear in court. If the Stipulation is approved and signed by the court official then it becomes a court order.

Any attachment to the Stipulation and Order to Change Form must be signed by both parties. This means that each and every page of any attachment must have the initials of both parties. This is so that the court knows that both parties reviewed all attachments.
