2026 CDBG Applications will open on Friday, February 28, 2025, and close at the end of the business day on Friday, March 28, 2025.  An informational meeting will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the Waukesha County Administration building located at 515 W. Moreland Blvd. at 2:00 pm in room 255/259.   

 

 

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development celebrates 50 Years of helping communities thieve with CDBG.  About 30 local non-profits across Waukesha County use these funds annually to address critical and unmet community needs including those for housing rehabilitation, neighborhood revitalization, public facilities, infrastructure, job creation, public services, and more.  Waukesha County CDBG celebration video. 

 

Project Recovery - Crisis Counselors are working in your area to provide compassionate nonjudgmental emotional support, information, resource referral, coping skills and stress management.

The CDBG 11 Member Board of Directors consists of two (2) County Board Supervisors, up to three (3) local officials and six (6) citizen members appointed by the County Executive with confirmation by the County Board of Supervisors.
