Community Development Division

Waukesha County’s Division of Community Development administers the HOME and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Community Development resources are used to fund programs, services, and projects for low- and moderate-income households.  Programs and services provide affordable housing, establish and maintain a suitable living environment, expand economic opportunities, support emergency shelters, economic development, infrastructure improvement, neighborhood revitalization, and public service activities, among others.
