Public Notice of Project:  Combined Notice of No Significant Impact and Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds.   Public Comment Period open until June 7, 2025.
Posted on 5/23/25. 

Proposed project is for Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County to construct 6 duplexes in Watertown, WI.  The units will be sold to 30-80 % LMI Households.  This Combined Notice provides details about the project and Request for Release of Funds to HUD.  The public comment period runs from 5/23/25 - 6/7/25.  Public comments should be sent to Kristin Silva at 262-896-3370 or ksilva@waukeshacounty.gov

Public Notice:  Combined Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Intent to Request Release of Funds (RROF) for Schumacher Way Habitat for Humanity Floodplain Project.  Posted on 4/21/25. 

On or about May 7, 2025, the Waukesha County Community Development Division will submit a FONSI/RROF notice to HUD for the release of $200,000 in CDBG Entitlement Funds for the Habitat for Humanity, Schumacher Way, duplex construction in Jefferson County. See attached notice for project details and public comment opportunity.

Final Notice and Public Explanation of a Proposed Activity in a Standard Designated Floodplain or Wetland. The proposed project(s) is located at 700 Schumacher in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson County, WI and is partially located in the Federal Flood Risk Management Standard (FFRMS) floodplain.  This notice is identified as Step 7 in the FEMA 8-step process.
