2022 Annual Park Entrance Sticker Options:

The Park System's Automatic License Plate Reader System is active. Be sure to enter accurate vehicle plate information when purchasing stickers using all caps, no spaces, and no hyphens. Once purchased online, your vehicle's plate is validated immediately, annual stickers purchased online will be mailed within one business day to the purchaser's address. Questions? Jump to FAQ.



*The purchaser of a Disabled Vet/Former POW Sticker must qualify for one or more of the following criteria:

  1. Is a veteran, as defined in 38 USC 101, and is receiving disability compensation benefits for service-connected disabilities that result in a disability rating of 70 percent or greater under 38 USC 1114.
  2. Is a veteran, as defined in 38 USC 101, and is receiving service-connected disability compensation benefits under 38 USC 1101-1163 as individually unemployable (TDIU).
  3. Is a member of the U.S. armed services and was held as a prisoner of war during a war period, as defined in s. 45.01 (13), or while in service in a crisis zone, as defined in s. 45.01 (11).

How do I purchase a Daily Permit or Annual Sticker?

How do I pay for a school bus/group drop-off?
For school groups using busses to enter the park, it is easiest to pay after your event. Make note of the bus license plate number that is used to enter the park, then ake payment of your bus entrance fee(s) within four days of your visit. When will I receive my annual sticker?
While the purchase is effective immediately, annual stickers purchased online will be mailed within one business day and will be mailed to the purchaser's address.


What happens if I do not pay to enter a park or lake access site with the Automatic License Plate Reader System?
Any visitors that do not pay within 5 days of their visit (including the day of visit) will be flagged and sent a Notice of Violation in the mail.


How do I pay if I receive a Notice of Violation in the mail?
Visit resolve.waukeshaparks.org to pay your violation online by using the notice number or pin number found on the notice received in the mail.

Where do I place my sticker(s)?
Completely remove backing pieces and fully affix sticker by its own adhesive to the inside, lower driver’s side corner windshield. The sticker is otherwise invalid. No exceptions. The stickers for the two-vehicle package can be placed on either vehicle. Retain your original receipt number as proof of purchase.

How do I purchase a sticker for someone else if I do not know their vehicle license plate number?
License plate information is critical, as Automatic License Plate Reader System cameras will read the information for entry compliance. If you are purchasing a sticker as a gift and don't know the recipient's license plate number, please consider purchasing a GIFT CARD instead and ask the recipient to purchase their sticker.

How do I get a Replacement Sticker for a new vehicle or a new windshield?
If you are planning on replacing your vehicle or need a new windshield installed, fill out the Annual Sticker Replacement Application and submit it for review. The original receipt number of the purchase will need to be supplied in order for a new sticker to be issued.

How do I update my license plate information if I get a new license plate or a new vehicle?
If you have changes to your license plate number(s) because you have new plates or are using a rental or courtesy vehicle, fill out the Annual Sticker Replacement Application and submit it for review. The original receipt number of the purchase will need to be supplied in order to make an update.

Does my State of Wisconsin Admission Sticker work in Waukesha County?
No, Wisconsin's state park stickers are not valid for Waukesha County Park entry. Wisconsin state properties require Wisconsin State Park System vehicle admission stickers and will need to be purchased separately.
