Family and Group Campgrounds 2022 Reservations are now available online!


Camping is offered from April 1 - October 31.

  • Campsite permits are nontransferable.
  • The permit holder is required to be onsite with the party and is responsible for ensuring the campsite is maintained in satisfactory condition. If anyone in the party fails to comply with camping and/or park rules, the permit may be revoked, without refund, requiring members of the party to leave the park and the permit holder may be assessed additional fees for clean-up and/or damage.

  • Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring with a grill.
  • There are no hookups for water and no dumping stations available. Please see our list of local dump stations (subject to change). 
  • Electricity is only available at some Muskego Park and Mukwonago Park sites. Please note that beginning October 1, campground water may be unavailable.
  • Firewood sales by Park Rangers are not available from April 1 – mid-May and mid-September – October 31. Please contact park staff between 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. to arrange for firewood during those periods.

Tax-Exempt Information:
Organizations with State of Wisconsin tax-exempt status, including Scout groups, must contact Guest Services staff at 262-548-7801 with their Tax Exempt Certificate prior to making a reservation.


Four park locations offer both Family and Group style camping:
  • Menomonee Park

    Menomonee Park is located in the Villages of Lannon and Menomonee Falls. The park offers countless recreational opportunities. It features 470 acres of rolling fields and shrublands, high-quality maple woods, wetlands, and a 16-acre quarry pond with a large beach.

    There are no electric campsites. The park does not have dump stations. You can find a list of local dump stations here (subject to change).

  • Mukwonago Park

    Mukwonago Park is a 355-acre site that includes a high ridge formed during the last glacial period, which stretches nearly the length of the park. Park visitors of all ages will be delighted to discover the park's commanding view of the rolling terrain and farmlands typical of southeastern Wisconsin.

    There are 7 electric family campsites and 2 electric group sites. Plan to bring a 50 ft. cord to reach the pedestal. The park does not have dump stations. You can find a list of local dump stations here (subject to change).

    Muskego Park is a 193-acre parcel that was purchased in 1958 as the County's first regional park. Many trails wind through Muskego Park Hardwoods, offering a tranquil atmosphere and home to abundant wildlife. 

    There are 9 electric family campsites and 1 electric group site. Plan to bring a 50 ft. cord to reach the pedestal. The park does not have dump stations. You can find a list of local dump stations here (subject to change).

  • Naga-Waukee Park

    Naga-Waukee Park spans 206 acres and offers a spectacular view of Nagawicka Lake as you meander down the boardwalk to the boat launch and beach. The oak and hickory forest and thick undergrowth define the trails that wind throughout the park, which is home to many different species of wildlife. 

    There are no electric campsites. The park does not have dump stations. You can find a list of local dump stations here (subject to change).

Camping Rules:

  • Park entrance fees apply. Daily entrance fee or annual sticker required on all vehicles
  • Campers must be 18 years of age or with a parent/legal guardian
  • Quiet time 11:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
  • Seven night camping limit; check out 12:00 p.m.
  • All firewood must be purchased at the park; no carry-ins
  • Parking on pavement, gravel, or designated areas only
  • No more than 3 dogs per handler.
  • Dogs must be leashed (6 ft. maximum length). Electronic leashes or collars are not considered a leash.
    *Off-leash permitted in designated Dog Exercise Areas and Dog Swim Areas only
  • Handlers shall have control of their dog(s) at all times
  • Handlers are responsible for removal and disposal of their dog's waste in a sanitary manner.

These rules are in addition to all Park Rules

Camping Cancellation Policy:

  • Camping reservations cancelled fewer than 14 days in advance will not receive a refund; camping reservations cancelled more than 14 days in advance will receive a full refund.
  • No refunds are given due to unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions, unless the park or facilities are officially closed.
