Park System Fees

Waukesha County Parks is a fee-based park system. The entrance fees help offset the cost of maintaining the parks and lake access sites. You may pay daily fees or purchase an annual entrance sticker online. Retzer Nature Center does not require an entrance fee.

Pewaukee Lake Access:

The Pewaukee Lake Access boat launch and site are being reconstructed.  Read more about this project.

The south ramp of the launch will OPEN on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 for public access.
The north ramp will remain closed due to conditions.

There are two other launch accesses to Pewaukee Lake, but parking is limited. See locations on the Wisconsin DNR websiteAnnual Lake Access Stickers are also valid to access Nagawicka, Nemahbin, and School Section Lakes.  

Nagawicka Lake Access:

Please note: The Nagawicka Lake Access site parking lot will be reconstructed in the fall/winter of 2022. The lot and boat launch will be closed from September 6 - December 31, 2022. Check back for project updates.
