Waukesha County Parks is a fee-based park system. The entrance fees help offset the cost of maintaining the parks and lake access sites. You may pay daily fees or purchase an annual entrance sticker online. Retzer Nature Center does not require an entrance fee.

The Pewaukee Lake Access boat launch and site are OPEN.
Both North and South ramps are open for use on May 28, 2022.
To minimize interruption to lake access the launches were reconstructed in two phases so that one launch could remain open through the construction process. Read more about this project here.
There are two other launch accesses to Pewaukee Lake, but parking is limited. See locations on the Wisconsin DNR website. Annual Lake Access Stickers are also valid to access Nagawicka, Nemahbin, and School Section Lakes.
Updated Wed., June 1, 2022
