Park System Fees


Waukesha County Park System is an 8,500-acre, natural resources-based system. Some parks and lake access sites require a daily permit or annual membership for access. A portion of these fees helps us maintain parkland. Retzer Nature Center does not require an entrance fee.

  • 2023 Annual Park Memberships Fees

    2023 Annual Park Memberships

    Park Memberships are valid from the date of purchase through December 31, 2023. Enjoy access to the following fee-based parks: Fox Brook, Fox River, Menomonee, Minooka, Mukwonago, Muskego, Naga-Waukee, Nashotah, and Ryan Parks. To purchase online, you will be asked to log in or sign up for an account. 

    Important: Have your license plate information ready. The Park System's Automatic License Plate Reader Systems requires user vehicle plate information upon purchase (all capital letters, no spaces, no hyphen). 

    Please note: There will be no windshield sticker mailed for memberships like in previous years. Annual memberships are verified by the license plate scanner upon entry. 

    2023 Annual Park Memberships: 

    • Park Membership - Regular $35 for one vehicle
    • Park Membership - Regular 2 for $55 for two vehicles

    • Park Membership - Senior (60+) $17 for one vehicle
    • Park Membership - Senior (60+) 2 for $29 for two vehicles

    • Park Membership - Disabled Veteran* $17 for one vehicle
    • Park Membership - Disabled Veteran* 2 for $29 for two vehicles

    • Park & Lake Access Bundle Membership - $120 for one vehicle
      - Package includes one Regular Park Membership and one Lake Access Membership

    *The purchaser of a Disabled Vet/Former POW Sticker must qualify for one or more of the following criteria:

        1. Is a veteran, as defined in 38 USC 101, and is receiving disability compensation benefits for service-connected disabilities that result in a disability rating of 70 percent or greater under 38 USC 1114.
        2. Is a veteran, as defined in 38 USC 101, and is receiving service-connected disability compensation benefits under 38 USC 1101-1163 as individually unemployable (TDIU).
        3. Is a member of the U.S. armed services and was held as a prisoner of war during a war period, as defined in s. 45.01 (13), or while in service in a crisis zone, as defined in s. 45.01 (11).
