Adult Adoption
An adult may be adopted by any other adult, who is a resident of this state. It has the same legal consequences of a minor adoption (48.92). Adult adoptions are handled in the Probate Court and are filed at the Juvenile Center, 521 Riverview Avenue in Room JC-103.
