• Home Delivered meals

Home delivered meals are available to homebound persons age 60 and older and their spouse, regardless of their age. The person must be a resident of Waukesha County, unable to prepare adequate nutritious meals, and unable to attend a senior dining center. Meals are delivered between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

    Application and Assessment
To apply for home delivered meals, call the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County (ADRC) at (262) 548-7848. Staff will ask for information needed to complete an application form. The ADRC will process the request and schedule an ADRC volunteer or staff member to conduct an in-home assessment. The assessment provides information to determine if the person meets the eligibility requirements for meals to begin. The applicant will be notified once eligibility is determined.

    Funding and Donations
Limited government grants cover a portion of the meal costs. At the time of the in-home assessment a suggested donation will be discussed. A monthly statement will be mailed to the client indicating the value of the meals served. A confidential donation can be mailed to the ADRC office. Donations allow the ADRC to make home delivered meals available to more people who need them. No one will be denied service because of inability to contribute.
