Runway Safety Area Project Update

The Runway 10/28 Safety Area Project continues to progress, with construction activities moving forward as planned. 

Current Project Impacts

  • Taxiway A west of Taxiway A2 remains under construction. Aircraft departing on Runway 10 will need to back taxi to the runway end.
  • Runway 28 RNAV (GPS) approach is available.
  • Runway 10 ILS approach remains out of service and is anticipated to be available October 29, following completion of the FAA flight check.
  • Additional movement area closures may be necessary as different phases of the project progress. Any operational impacts will be communicated as information becomes available.

Upcoming Milestone

October 29: Runway 10/28 instrument approaches are anticipated to be re-published following completion of the FAA flight check.
