Runway Safety Area Project Update June 1, 2026
The Runway 10/28 Safety Area Project is moving along at a great pace. Despite supply issues and early weather delays, our contractors are working diligently to ensure no interruptions to the construction schedule.
Project Impacts and Operational Changes
Please note the following dates and impacts
· July 10, Runway 10/28 will close for grading and construction work.
· August 2, Runway 10/28 will be reopened
· October 29, Runway 10/28 instrument approaches re-published
· There will be additional movement area closures at different stages of the project, and those will be communicated as the work progresses
