Airport Commission

The Waukesha Airport Operations Commission is responsible for reviewing, advising, and assisting Airport Management on airport improvements and master plans, proposed capital projects, the annual airport budget, airport rules and regulations, and operational procedures. The Commission also responds to airport user comments regarding airport operations. In addition, it serves as a liaison to the County Executive and County Board on all matters related to airport construction, improvements, equipment, maintenance, and operations, including the establishment of fees or charges for airport use, as well as advising on matters related to local, state, and federal regulations governing airport operations.

Airport Commission Submission Materials and Timelines 

The Airport Operations Commission meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 8am in the Airport Terminal Conference Room. To properly prepare items for the commissioner’s consideration, final drafts of all items must be submitted to the Airport Administration Office five (5) weeks prior to the desired commission meeting date. This allows time for proper review by the appropriate department or consultant, assignment to an airport staff member and preparation of a recommendation. Materials may be submitted personally to the Airport Administration Office located at 2525 Aviation Drive Waukesha, WI 53188 or by emailing the materials to airport@waukeshacounty.gov
