Waukesha County

Wisconsin's recycling law requires every citizen in Wisconsin to recycle materials that are banned from landfills.  This law also applies to businesses, institutions, and special events.

Automotive Recycling for Businesses

Under Wisconsin law, businesses are required to properly dispose of motor oil/oil filters, lead acid batteries and waste tires. It is recommended businesses contact their regular trash/recycling hauler to inquire about disposal options for these items. Otherwise, please refer to the list below:
