What we do: DPW division:

Maintainence of Waukesha County and State Highways:

• Mowing, tree-trimming to maintain sightlines and safe operations
• Removal of dead, contagious, or hazard-causing trees
• Road striping and marking
• Paving, repair of potholes, improvement of shoulders
• Snow plowing; application of de-icing agents like salt, brine, beet juice
• Management of accident damage to Waukesha County-owned signals, signs, guardrails, fencing, more
• Liaison with Waukesha County Communications Center on emergent roadway issues: roadway blockages, hazards, accident clean-up, more
• Waukesha County Adopt-A-Highway
