Waukesha County Sheriff's Department Explorer Post 6700

Are you interested in becoming an Explorer with the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department Explorer Post 6700?

Membership is open to young adults who have completed the 8th grade and are between the ages of 14 and 21 years of age.

Meetings are held three Sundays per month from 7 to 9 pm at the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department located at 515 W. Moreland Boulevard, Waukesha, WI 53188

Explorers receive training in traffic control, first aid, conflict resolution, law enforcement use of force and physical fitness and participate in statewide competitions and scholarship opportunities.

Additional requirements for membership include:

• Completed application
• Parental approval
• Good health
• Good moral habits with no arrests or convictions for serious offenses
• 2.0 GPA maintained in school
