The archery tower at Menomonee Park is closed for maintenance. 


Join us at Waukesha County Parks' four archery ranges for exercise, for recreation, and to prepare for bowhunting season. Bring your bows, arrows, and target.

Target Archery Range Rules:

  • Observe all safe bow handling rules.
  • Use only installed Targets, no 3D Field Targets are allowed.
  • Use target arrows only, no broad heads are allowed.
  • No guns are allowed, including air rifles or BB guns.
  • Absolutely no horseplay on the Target Range.
  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the Target Range. Shooters shall not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Respect other Target Range users:
    • If a person or animal enters any visible area of the range, all shooting must stop immediately until area is clear.
    • Do not nock arrow while somebody is down range.
    • Do not cock crossbows while somebody is down range.
  • Bows are only to be drawn at the shooting range line and in the direction of the targets.
  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Archer's disobeying any of these rules or acting unsafe in any way will be asked to leave premises.
  • Waukesha County is not responsible for damage to or loss of personal equipment used at the range.
