Scout Animal Adaptations Hike
1.5 hour program
$6 per Scout, per program (Minimum of 20 Scouts)
Meet the Retzer teaching animals! Make observations and see how an animal’s physical and behavioral traits can help it to survive as we explore the concepts of habitat and survival. Head outside to the Retzer Trails wherewe will look for animals, evidence of animals and explore how animals use their adaptations to survive in the wild.

Scoop up a net full of pond muck and pick your way through to discover
the unusual and extraordinary ecosystem that is full of life. Learn about the
adaptations that reptiles, amphibians and insects possess to live in this watery
world.
