WAUKESHA COUNTY PARK SYSTEM
EAGLE SCOUT/GOLD AWARD LEADERSHIP SERVICE PROJECTS

Thank you for your interest in choosing Waukesha County Park System for your Eagle Scout or Gold Award Leadership Service Project!

The Waukesha County Park System has several locations for projects including eight parks, three golf courses, two ice arenas, Exposition Center, Retzer Nature Center, and several other greenway and undeveloped park properties.  Due to the high volume of project requests received, we require additional information before meeting and approving a project. Project options include the following categories:

  • Building Park Benches
  • Boardwalk/Bridge Improvements
  • Trail Improvements/Sign Installation
  • Building Wildlife Shelters (e.g. bird box, bat house, etc.)
  • Recreational Enhancements (e.g. horseshoe pit, sand box, archery stand, etc.)
  • Storm Drain Stenciling

To get started with your project request, please fill out the Eagle Scout / Gold Award Leadership Service Project Request Form.

Scouts may be responsible for obtaining some or all of the materials necessary for the project. Waukesha County may be able to provide some tools, equipment and labor necessary to aide in the completion of the project.  These details and any others will be discussed if a project is approved. A site visit will likely be required after project approval, and before starting any work.

Should you have any questions or need additional verification, please call 262-896-8074 or email parksinfo@waukeshacounty.gov.
