About Fox Brook Park

Fox Brook Park's beloved swimming beach is nestled around a man-made lake perfect for long days of swimming, lounging, scuba diving, and self-serve SUP and kayak rentals. Of its 223 acres, Fox Brook Park features 178 acres of wetland that's home to bird species from gold finches to indigo buntings and many more -- and is to be preserved and protected as a natural habitat and a vital open space. For strolling (or rolling), take the paved trail as it outlines the water (about a mile) with stops at three wildlife viewing areas, where park users love to pause to soak in the wonders of sky, air, and earth. Down for a longer walk? Activate your fitness tracker, jump on the new Fox River Trail, and head east; you will not be sorry you did. (All this just minutes from Capitol Drive or I-94.) Whether beauty and tranquility or the rush of splashing and paddling -- or a family reunion, birthday party, or just-because-gathering at a reserved picnic area -- all your vibes are covered at Fox Brook.
