ADRC Workshops

Evidence-based prevention programs have been researched and are proven to have positive results to promote safe healthy aging.The primary goals of the Evidence-Based Prevention and Education Programs are to empower adult persons to adopt healthy behaviors, improve health status, and manage chronic health conditions better.

All workshops meet weekly over a period of 6 (or 7) weeks.To ensure the workshop meets the highest level standards, each 2 (2 ½) hour workshop is led by trained leaders.

New Offering: Coffee, Tea & Talks

Monthly small-group presentations for older adult learners on health topics presented by experts. Includes time for Q&A. First Tuesday of each month, with the exception of January 2018.

December 5th talk about end-of-life care and your personal wishes. Room 114 at the Waukesha County Health & Human Services Center, 514 Riverview Rd, Waukesha. Seating is limited. Reservations required. Call Lee at (262) 548-7848. Sponsored by the ADRC. Complimentary coffee, tea & treats.

January 9th topic: Fit to a T. Developed by the U.S. Bone & Joint Initiative. For people with Osteoporosis and those who care for them.
