Watch what happens with your curbside recyclables once they are collected!

Communities in Waukesha County can recycle in two ways. Bins that are collected up the drive and carts placed at the curb. Never place recyclables in plastic bags.

Carts collected curbside should be:

• Placed so the lid opens towards the street
• 6 feet from trees or cars
• No overflowing material
• No extra material on top of the lid

The below postcards are mailed to homes identified as potentially having contamination or bags in their recycling cart.
