Biography
Michael Gryczka has been a resident of Waukesha County for nearly three decades, having settled in shortly after graduating from Marquette University. He and his wife raised three children, all of whom attended New Berlin public schools.
Professionally, Michael has built an accomplished career as a banking executive and community leader, with more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. His work has focused on commercial lending, strategic growth, and fostering strong partnerships across the business community.
Beyond his professional role, Michael is deeply committed to advancing economic development in Waukesha County. He has served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Waukesha County Business Alliance for more than a decade and previously held leadership roles with the Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce, including service on its executive committee.
In recognition of his civic engagement and commitment to public service, Michael was selected to participate in the FBI Citizens Academy, a program designed to educate community leaders on federal law enforcement operations. In 2025, he further expanded his community involvement by completing the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy. He has also contributed to regional business discussions on topics such as cybersecurity challenges and leadership within family-owned enterprises.
Outside of his professional and civic pursuits, Michael enjoys spending time in Waukesha County’s parks and outdoor spaces. An avid sportsman, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and traveling with family and friends.
