Sharps (Needles)

Syringes, needles, and lancets must be disposed of properly. Never dispose of these items in your curbside recycling or garbage collection.

Safe Disposal Sites for all Waukesha County Residents:

Check with your pharmacy on their sharps disposal policy.

Pick 'n Save pharmacies may accept sharps from their pharmacy customers at no cost, and for a nominal fee for non-customers.

Several Aurora pharmacies take back sharps for a fee.
