The Healthy Pregnancy Program is a home visiting program for expecting parents and women to help gain access to medical, social, educational, and other services during their pregnancy. Waukesha County Public Health offers this program at no cost to families who live in Waukesha County.
Through a series of appointments with a registered nurse, you will receive information on:
- Blood Pressure, weight measurements, and newborn checks
- Coordinate services along with physician’s care.
- Offer nutritional information and education on pregnancy topics of interest.
- Personalized visits to fit your family's needs
- Community resources including:
- Healthcare providers
- Dental Care
- WIC
- Counseling
- Transportation
- Food Access
- Discomforts of pregnancy
- Preterm labor
- Labor and delivery
- Taking care of your newborn
- Breastfeeding
- Emotional wellbeing
- Parenting and additional information as needed
