Summary of Career Preceding Judgeship
Cody Horlacher served as an Assistant District Attorney and later as a Special Prosecutor for the Walworth District Attorney's office after law school. In 2014, Horlacher was elected to the State Assembly serving eight years representing portions of Waukesha, Walworth, and Jefferson Counties. Horlacher served on the Judiciary Committee as well as the Criminal Justice committee for the Assembly throughout his legislative career. Horlacher also maintained a private practice during his time in the legislature. In 2023, he was elected to Branch 7.
