Waukesha County Adds Vaccination Data On COVID-19 Dashboard

(Waukesha, WI) – Today, Waukesha County added vaccination data to its COVID-19 Dashboard on a Vaccine Data tab. This new information will keep the public informed about the numbers of COVID-19 vaccines administered to Waukesha County residents.

“We have launched this additional dashboard tab to let residents track the progress of COVID-19 vaccinations across the County,” said Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow. “More than 27,000 vaccine doses have already been administered, and that number will increase significantly as more vaccine becomes available.”

The new dashboard tab displays Waukesha County vaccine data collected by the State. The visual data reflects cumulative total vaccinations by age group, county where administered, and race. The information will be updated weekly on Wednesdays.

The dashboard and more information about Waukesha County’s COVID-19 response is available

at www.waukeshacounty.gov/covid19.

At this time, only healthcare workers, long-term care residents and staff, first responders, and individuals 65 and older are eligible to be vaccinated. While vaccine is very limited, residents should understand that, even though they are eligible to be vaccinated, it may be weeks until they are able to schedule an appointment.

  • Residents with established healthcare providers and pharmacies are asked to wait to hear from their provider to learn how to schedule an appointment. They should not reach out to healthcare providers directly to avoid overwhelming call centers and inboxes.
  • Residents who do not have established healthcare providers will have opportunities to be vaccinated by local healthcare systems, pharmacies and community vaccination clinics that are currently being planned.

Residents should continue with strategies to help stop the spread of the virus, such as wearing a face mask, physical distancing, using good hygiene, and staying home when ill.

Waukesha County continues to match unaffiliated healthcare providers, like dentists and home healthcare professionals, with hospitals, pharmacies, the consortium of fire departments in Waukesha County and other organizations that have registered to vaccinate.  This network will expand significantly as DHS provides final approval and access to vaccines to additional organizations in the weeks ahead. Waukesha County is also assisting organizations that are interested in becoming registered vaccinators. Organizations that want to be connected to vaccine or help with the vaccination effort can find more information at www.waukeshacounty.gov/covidvaccine.
