FoodWIse partners with a variety of Waukesha County agencies to teach series of lessons for preschoolers, school age children, teens, parents and caregivers with children, adults, and seniors in both English and Spanish.
Waukesha FoodWIse program partners with agencies/programs including schools, WIC, Head Start, food pantries, resource centers, aging units, health and human services departments, clinics, shelters, housing units, and meal programs to work with income-eligible groups. FoodWIse education includes:
FoodWIse is funded by SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education) and EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program).
