Hours, Access, and Services at Waukesha County

Waukesha County will not issue a local mandate and will allow staff and residents to choose whether to wear a mask in most county facilities. Employees and residents are required to wear masks in the Courthouse, which is subject to an order by the Supreme Court, and in clinical and hospital settings such as the Waukesha County Vaccine Clinics, Mental Health Center, and Waukesha Employee Health & Wellness Center. Waukesha County employees may also be directed to wear masks during events where social distancing is difficult to maintain.

Hours: 7:30 am - 1 pm

Order ahead: To place an order, phone 262-896-8385 at least 15 minutes before desired pick-up time. Pay upon pick-up.

Child Support (AC)

To drop off: Applications for services, other documents, and payments for Child Support division are to be dropped off Monday - Friday from 8 am - 4:30 pm at room AC 348. Thank you.

Circuit Courts (CH)

As of Monday, June 22, 2020, Clerk of Court’s offices are open for in-person services. More info: www.WaukeshaCounty.gov/CircuitCourts

All court filings and documents can be processed in person (view room numbers), via the Wisconsin Courts’ eFiling System, via US mail, and via fax. As of Monday, September 21, the Courthouse lobby drop box is no longer available. Each US mail or fax submission must include: 

1. Original Filing Document and appropriate number of copies
2. Self-addressed stamped envelope (only if return of filed stamped copies is requested)
3. Payment for filing fee by check, cashier’s check, or money order
4. Paying by card? Requesting a return phone call for more info? Then please include your name and phone number.

Traffic Citations Calendars: canceled through July 31, 2021 (more info)

Jury Services: resumed as of July 7, 2020 (more info)

Collections (AC)

For all collections questions or to arrange a payment, please contact 262-548-7876 for assistance.

Making a payment via check: Checks, money orders, and cashier checks must have a “Pay to the Order” of Waukesha County Collections Division and reference the account number or account name (mailing address below).

Making a payment via credit/debit card: Phone 262-548-7876 to make a card payment.

Making a payment in person: Waukesha County's Collections Division is open to the public and accepting payments via cash, check, and card in room AC 348. Recommended: Our customers are encouraged to make all payments payment via phone or US mail (mailing address below).

County Executive (AC)
Waukesha County Executive's Office is open to the public. To best ensure the safety of our staff and customers, we strongly recommend that visitors set an appointment by phone at 262-548-7902 or email at countyexec@waukeshacounty.gov. Thank you!

Health & Human Services

Note: For the safety of those we serve and HHS staff, all visitors will undergo a brief screening when entering the Mental Health Center (MHC), Juvenile Center (JC), and Human Services Center (HSC). Prior to accessing the buildings, visitors will be asked a series of COVID-19 screening questions. Thank you.

Human Services Center (HSC)

    • Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Information and Assistance Call Center is open at 262-548-7848.
    • The in-person ADRC office reopened as of May 17, 2021.
    • Senior Dining Centers continue to be closed.
    • Home delivered meals (Meals on Wheels) returned to their usual hot meal delivery 5-days per week as of June 1, 2021. More info: 262-548-7848.
    • Children’s Long-Term Support services and Birth to Three services are conducted in-person or via tele-health at the request of the parent.
    • Economic Support Services have returned to normal operations as of April 2021.
    • Essential Services such as Adult Protective Services, Child Welfare Services, and Youth Justice Services resumed in-person response as of May 1, 2021. Phone and video calls may be available by request of individuals and families. Crisis Services resumed in-person response as of March 29, 2021. 
    • Genoa Pharmacy remains open. They are able to mail medications (and will deliver in emergencies). More info: 262-955-8811.
    • Outpatient Mental Health & Substance Use Clinic is providing face-to-face services for individuals and group sessions. Telehealth is available when appropriate.
    • Open Access (Intake Assessments) is still available. Clients may pick up the paperwork or find it online, and return forms in person to the Human Services Center or email them to Records Services. More info: 262-548-7666.
    • The Public Health Clinic is open by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays as of May 24, 2021. More info: 262-896-8430.
    • Records Services returned to normal operations as of April 5, 2021. Records requests are welcome via US mail, fax, or in-person at the Human Services Center. Find more process info here: www.WaukeshaCounty.gov/HealthAndHumanServices/health-information/MedicalRecords. Note: If you are requesting to receive records via secure email, include email address as a receipt method in the completed authorization form. 
    • Senior Dining Sites are closed. Home meal delivery continues operation.
    • Teen Court is offered via scheduled video/phone sessions. No in-person sessions until further notice.
    • Veterans’ Services Office is open for walk-in services.
    • WIC Clinic is open for services by appointment only. For more info, call: 262-896-8440. Enter through the Public Health main entrance Mon, Weds, Thurs, Fri – 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tues – 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

Mental Health Center (MHC)

    • Inpatient Mental Health Center has suspended visitations except for clergy, representatives of the court, and guardians. Exceptions to visiting are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Juvenile Center (JC)

    • Juvenile Center visits are non-contact visits conducted on site. Visitors are asked to wear a mask. Youth and visitors will be separated by a glass panel. To schedule a visit and receive the latest visit protocols, call 262-548-7753.
    • Teen Court is being offered via scheduled video/phone sessions. No in-person sessions are occurring until further notice.

We're happy to announce that the following programs and services have returned, as of autumn 2020:

Bid/RFP Submissions: Purchasing encourages vendors to submit Bids/RFPs electronically; please find submittal instructions in the Bid/RFP document. However, if you intend to mail your bid/proposal or drop off in person, review Bid/RFP documents for instructions regarding mailing address and drop off location at room AC 320 in the Administration Center by the required deadline. Responses received after the Bid/RFP due date and time may be rejected. Check often for amendments to Bids/RFPs that may alter due dates, schedules, and other details during this evolving situation.
