Café Waukesha (AC • CH)

Reopen date: August 3 2020 (tentative)

Now in progress: Changes to Café Waukesha to safeguard our staff and customers, including 

• elevated cleaning and disinfecting
• food and beverage handling and preparation
• social distancing
• clear safety barriers
• reduced self-service options; increased staff-served menu items and fresh-to-go items
• staff health and hygiene

Child Support (AC)

To drop off: Applications for services, other documents, and payments for Child Support division are to be deposited in the drop box located inside the main entrance of Waukesha County Courthouse (just before the security screen). Thank you.


Circuit Courts (CH)

Effective Monday, June 22, 2020 the Clerk of Court’s offices will reopen for in-person  services.

All court filings and documents can be processed in person, and via the Wisconsin Courts’ eFiling System, US mail, fax, and the county drop box located just inside the main entrance to the Waukesha County Courthouse. Drop-offs must include: 

1. Original Filing Document and appropriate number of copies
2. Self-addressed stamped envelope (only if return of filed stamped copies is requested)
3. Payment for filing fee by check, cashier’s check, or money order
4. Paying by card? Requesting a return phone call for more info? Then please include your name and phone number.

Traffic Citations Calendars: canceled through August 26, 2020 (more info)

County Executive (AC)
The Waukesha County Executive's Office is open by appointment only. To schedule an appointment with the County Executive or a staff member, please phone 262-548-7902 or send a request to countyexec@waukeshacounty.gov. Thank you!

Health & Human Services

Note: For the safety of those we serve and HHS staff, all visitors will undergo a brief screening when entering the Mental Health Center (MHC), Juvenile Center (JC), and Human Services Center (HSC). Prior to accessing the buildings, visitors will be asked a series of COVID-19 screening questions. Thank you.

Human Services Center (HSC)

    • Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Information and Assistance Call Center remains open at 262-548-7848.
    • The in-person ADRC office is closed. No in-person home visits are conducted. Assessments are being completed via telephone.
    • Adult Protective Services are conducted via telephone and videoconferencing as much as possible. In-person investigations are continued for urgent needs.
    • Senior Dining Centers are closed. Home meal delivery continues with a one-time per week delivery of five meals. More info: 262-548-7848.
    • Children’s Long-Term Support Services and Birth to 3 services are only conducted via phone and video (telehealth) per Wisconsin DHS.
    • Community-based Services continue with limited capacity.
    • Economic Support Services are available over the phone or online. Walk-in services are limited.
    • Essential Services such as Adult Protective Services, Crisis Services, Child Welfare Services, and Youth Justice Services remain available by a combination of phone and video calls, and in-person contacts.
    • Genoa Pharmacy remains open. They are able to mail medications (and will deliver in emergencies). More info: 262-955-8811.
    • Outpatient Mental Health & Substance Use Clinic has suspended seeing clients/patients face-to-face. Starting July 6, the Clinic will resume in-person medication injection services for clients who had been receiving injections at the Clinic prior to the closure of the Human Services Center. Telehealth options are currently available for group and individual services.
    • Open Access (Intake Assessments) is still available. Clients may pick up the paperwork or find it online, and return forms in person to the Human Services Center or email them to Records Services. More info: 262-548-7666.
    • Public Health walk-in services are closed.
    • Records Services are available by phone at 262-548-7212 with limited walk-in services. Records requests are welcome via US mail, fax, or at the front desk of the Human Services Center. More process info: www.WaukeshaCounty.gov/HealthAndHumanServices/health-information/MedicalRecords. Note: If you are requesting to receive records via secure email, include email address as a receipt method in the completed authorization form. 
    • Senior Dining Sites are closed. Home meal delivery continues operation.
    • Teen Court is offered via scheduled video/phone sessions. No in-person sessions until further notice.
    • Veterans’ Services Office is open for walk-in services starting July 6. 
    • WIC services is to re-open for limited services starting July 14. Services continue to be provided remotely or by phone at 1-800-540-3620. Starting July 14, enter through the Public Health main entrance Tuesday 10:15 am - 5:30 pm • Wednesday 8 am - 3:30 pm • Friday 8 - 10:30 am.

Mental Health Center (MHC)

    • Inpatient Mental Health Center has suspended visitations except for clergy, representatives of the court, and guardians.

Juvenile Center (JC)

    • Juvenile Center visits will be non-contact visits conducted on site. Youth and visitors will be separated by a glass panel. To schedule a visit and receive the latest visit protocols, phone 262-548-7753.
    • Teen Court is being offered via scheduled video/phone sessions. No in-person sessions are occurring until further notice.

Sheriff's Department (LEC)
As of March 19, 2020, the following are suspended:

Public Works (AC)

As of June 22, Waukesha County Public Works offices have re-opened and in-person services are again available in room AC 220.

Purchasing (AC)

For all Purchasing questions, please phone 262-548-7888.

Bid/RFP Submissions: Purchasing continues to accept Bids/RFPs electronically and by mail per the deadlines noted in each posted Bids/RFP. Recommended: Submit bids/RFPs online or via US mail (per instructions noted in each Bid/RFP).

In-person submissions are to be deposited in the drop box located just inside the Courthouse main entrance by the required deadline. Responses received after the Bid/RFP due date and time may be rejected. Check often for amendments to Bids/RFPs that may alter due dates, schedules, and other detilas during this evolving situation.

Bid/RFP Openings: In-person Bid/RFP openings have been suspended and replaced with telephonic Bid/RFP openings. Please find instructions for calling in the Bid/RFP documents.


Register of Deeds (AC)

The Register of Deeds remains closed to the public until further notice. Services continue to be available electronically, by email, drop box, mail and phone.

UW-Extension (AC)
