Waukesha County Sheriff Update - Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

In lieu of Governor Tony Evers “Safer at Home” order, The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office wants to address two issues raised as a result of the Governor’s orders when it comes to traveling outside their homes. “Individuals do not need special permission to leave their homes, but they must comply with this order as to when it is permissible to leave home. Similarly, if a business is an Essential Business or Operation as defined in this order, it does not need documentation or certification to continue its work that is done in compliance with this order.” Governor Tony Evers, Press Release dated March 24, 2020.
