Waukesha County, Wisconsin, June 8-10, 2021: A team of assessors from the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG) will be on-site June 8 through 10, 2021 to examine all aspects of the Waukesha County Sheriff’s policies and procedures, management, operations and support services. Agencies are required to comply with all the standards in these areas to earn accreditation, which is a highly prized recognition of law enforcement professional excellence.


As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling 262-548-7019 on June 9, 2021 between 1-2 p.m. Calls will be handled by the WILEAG Assessment Team assigned to conduct the assessment.


Telephone comments are limited to ten minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with WILEAG’s standards. A copy of the standards is available at the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office located at 515 W. Moreland Boulevard, Waukesha, WI 53188.
