UW Extension in Waukesha County invites families and youth to participate in the 4-H STEM Kids Zone sponsored by Fleet Farm at the Waukesha County Fair from July 18-22. This special event, offered each day of the County Fair, offers youth many opportunities to explore interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) through hands on learning.
“This event is just one opportunity to learn about STEM and the many other opportunities that 4-H offers to youth in Waukesha County;” said James Boling, Youth and Family Educator for UW Extension. “We are fortunate that Fleet Farm sponsors this program at the County Fair.”
The schedule for the 4-H STEM Kids Zone at the Waukesha County Fair includes:
Wednesday, July 18th (1:00-5:00 pm) - Engineering
Thursday, July 19th (Noon-4:00 pm) - Physics
Friday, July 20th (Noon-4:00 pm) - Space
Saturday, July 21st (Noon-4:00 pm) - Electronics
Sunday, July 22nd (10:00am-5:00 pm) – Bubble Science
