New County Road Project on Silvernail Road

Friday, March 29th, 2024, Waukesha County Department of Public Works announced in a news release, they have taken over maintenance of Silvernail Road within the city between Grandview Blvd (CTH T) and Bluemound Road (CTH JJ) from the city to the county. The jurisdictional transfer change took place on February 26th, 2024, and will have no direct impact on surrounding properties.

“Waukesha County is undertaking a project to realign Silvernail Road, which when complete, will improve Airport runway safety.
