County's Heroin Task Force Fights Against Substance Use Disorder

February 13, 2024, The Waukesha County Heroin Task Force (HTF) is proud to announce significant progress in its ongoing battle against substance use disorder, fostering collective impact and hope throughout the community in 2023. These efforts are highlighted by a substantial decrease in overdose deaths. According to recent data, drug overdose deaths in Waukesha County decreased by more than 19% from 2021 to 2022.
