State of Emergency Declaration, Warming Shelter Open

Saturday, January 13, 2024 County Executive Paul Farrow extended an emergency declaration until Monday January 15, 2024 at 11:59pm.

The County Executive issued a state of emergency declaration Friday, January 12th, but due to increasing snow total amounts, strong winds, dangerous travel and wide-spread power outages, Farrow extended the declaration and the County has opened a warming shetler.

The shelter will be at the Waukesha County Expo Center beginning at 4pm Saturday, January 13th 1000 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188
