County Executive Proclaims October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Thursday October 5th, 2023, Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow proclaimed the month of October as "Domestic Violence Awareness Month."

Farrow issued the proclamation to Angela Mancuso, Executive Director of The Women's Center, located at 505 N. East Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186.

The Women’s Center’s mission is to provide safety, shelter and support to empower all impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence, child abuse, and trafficking.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month provides an excellent platform to show support for the Advocates and life-saving programs of The Women’s Center and the individuals and families they serve.
