Update: Waukesha County Courthouse and Administration Center to Reopen Tuesday, January 7
12:20 UPDATE:
Due to the ongoing investigation into the threat to the County Courthouse and Administration Building those buildings will remain closed for the remainder of the day. The public and all employees are being asked to stay away from the building.
Proceedings scheduled for today (Jan. 6, 2020) in Waukesha County Circuit Court and at the Waukesha County Juvenile Justice Center have been canceled due to a courthouse closure. Proceedings scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 7 are set to resume as scheduled.

WAUKESHA COUNTY COURTHOUSE AND ADMINISTRATION CENTER CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

(WAUKESHA, WI) – The Waukesha County Courthouse and Administration Building are closed due to a bomb threat. Members of the public should not attempt to enter these facilities until further notice.
All morning court dates are cancelled and will be rescheduled. An update on the status of proceedings scheduled for this afternoon will be provided as soon as available.
A news conference is scheduled for 11:30 am at the media staging area in the Courthouse north parking lot.
