County Board Chair Paul Decker announces retirement

Monday, December 4, 2023, Waukesha County Board Chairman Paul Decker announced he will not seek re-election this spring.

Chairman Decker was appointed to the County Board in 2009 to represent the Hartland area and has served as County Board Chair since 2012.

“I am proud of what we have accomplished together,” Decker said. “I am confident that the county will continue to thrive under the leadership of County Executive Paul Farrow and the dedicated members of the County Board," Decker added.
