Eble Park Ice Arena offers learn-to-play hockey classes for children and adults at various times throughout the year. After completion of the class, players have the option to join a local hockey league.

This 5-week class is designed for new skaters, ages 4 to 12, who have little to no skating experience. This program will primarily focus on developing skating abilities needed for hockey. Free skate rental is available during all classes. However, it is recommended skaters bring their own.

This 5-week program is for skaters, ages 4 to 12, who have completed "Introduction to Ice Skating for Hockey" or another learn to skate program. Using the skating skills developed in the previous program, players will add sticks and pucks to start learning the basic fundamental skills needed to join a youth hockey league. Free skate rental is available during all classes. However, we recommend skaters bring their own.

The Eble Park Ice Arena In-House program is for players, ages 5-14, that have completed a hockey development program and are not registered to play on a team in a youth hockey association.The emphasis in this program will be on skill development. During the program hockey drills will be run that include skating, stick handling, shooting & passing as well as scrimmages. Full hockey equipment is required to participate.

This class is designed for beginner skaters, ages 16 and older, who want to learn to skate. The first half of the course introduces forward, and backward skating stops, edges, crossovers, and turns. The second half of the class introduces hockey drills with stick and pucks.
