Step Two: Developmental Screening
Step Two: Your doctor may recommend completion of a more formal Developmental Screening tool. There are many parent completed questionnaires available and your doctor may already have a preferred tool.
You, as a parent or caregiver, are able to access the ASQ-3 on-line through the Easter Seals Make the First Five Count website.
The ASQ-3 is designed to be a parent completed questionnaire and the recommended developmental screening tool that we use within the Waukesha County - Lutheran Social Services Early Intervention Programs.
The website allows you, as a parent or caregiver, to fill out the ASQ-3 on-line and have it returned with recommendations for next steps.
What do I do if my child is showing possible delays in development on the screening tool?
We recommend you talk with your child’s pediatrician.
