Drone Safety

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), or drones as they are often called, provide great aerial photography opportunities and are a lot of fun to fly, but they can be a safety concern to manned aircraft when operated close to airports. It is important to know that whenever you fly a drone at any altitude within 5 miles of Waukesha County Airport, you MUST notify Airport Management at 262-521-5250 or the Air Traffic Control Tower at 262-970-4777 before flying.

Part 107 for commercial operators has gone into effect. Click here for more details.
