Waukesha County Flooding - FEMA Assessment

Preliminary Damage Assessment Update for Waukesha County

A joint Preliminary Damage Assessment is now underway in Waukesha County. The assessment team includes representatives from FEMA, Wisconsin Emergency Management, the Small Business Administration, and Waukesha County Government, as well as local representatives. They will be conducting door-to-door assessments to verify damage that we’ve reported to WEM and FEMA.
This is an important step in the process of being approved for federal disaster assistance. The team will be out over the next several days working to verify reports.
Remember! Even if authorities do not visit your home to verify damages, that does not mean you aren't eligible for federal assistance if it is approved in the future. We will continue to share updates regarding federal assistance as soon as we have them.
