Budget Information Sessions

On Monday, August 11, 2025, Waukesha County will kick off their first public budget information session. The 90-minute, open house format is designed to educate and inform residents about the 2026 county budget and address the county’s current financial picture.
Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow will join other county leaders to engage with the public, plus provide opportunities for attendees to ask questions and give feedback.

“Public input is vital to the budget process. These sessions will give residents a chance to see where their tax dollars go and to ask questions about the services they rely on every day,” County Executive Paul Farrow said. “We’re committed to transparency and want the community to have a voice as we plan for the year ahead,” Farrow added.

The information sessions will highlight how the county budget aligns with public priorities and the 2024 Budget Task Force’s recommendations. The public will also be able to learn about the county’s revenue sources, major expenditure priorities such as justice and public safety, 5-year Capital Projects Plan, plus the state and county relationship and how that impacts our budget and local tax property tax dollars.
