Identifying Subscriber Radio Tones

All subscriber radios on the Waukesha County Trunked Radio System produce the same set of audible tones to alert users to important radio events and conditions including out-of-range, talk permit, system busy, and low battery indicators. Because trunked systems don't always provide immediate visual feedback, recognizing these tones and knowing how to respond is crucial for maintaining clear communication, particularly during high-priority or emergency traffic.
