FOOD SAFETY: RESTAURANT AND RETAIL FOOD LICENSING

The Waukesha County Division of Environmental Health inspects and licenses restaurants, and retail food establishments.

Before constructing, remodeling or renovating an establishment or facility licensed by the Division of Environmental Health, Waukesha County Code requires that detailed plans be submitted for review. One copy of the plans should be sent to:

The Waukesha County Division of Environmental Health investigates all reports of foodborne and waterborne illness from licensed establishments or facilities within Waukesha County.

If you have a complaint concerning a licensed establishment or facility, a foodborne illness complaint, questions regarding application for a license to operate a regulated establishment or facility, please call (262) 896-8300 during normal business hours 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
