Park Location
Located within the Villages of Menomonee Falls and Lannon, Menomonee Park totals 394 acres of rolling field, high quality maple woods, cattail marsh, wetlands, and a 16-acre quarry lake.
RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Swimming: The 16-acre Quarry Lake, swimming beach, beach house, and concession stand is open June thru August with lifeguards on duty daily.
Scuba Diving: Explore the underwater world while scuba diving the lake. A permit and release form is required.
Fishing: Bring your fishing pole for an ideal family-oriented fishing opportunity. We encourage and support the catch and release of fish, so that many people can enjoy the excitement and thrill of catching fish from the lake. From the accessible fishing pier you can catch Trout, Bluegill, Perch, or Crappies.
Biking: Enjoy this stop along the Bugline Trail.
Camping: Come to the park during the day and stay the night at either the reserved group camp sites or pop your tent at one of the 33 sites in the first come, first serve family camping area.
Picnicking: Come for a quiet picnic at one of our family picnic areas or reserve a picnic area for your family reunion or business party.
Nature Hiking: Take a hike on a trail and experience nature. Many different levels for all hiking or walking enthusiasts.
Bridle Trails: Bring your horse and enjoy the bridle trails through the park from May 1st to Nov. 1st. You can also gain access to the Bugline Trail that leads to the Ranch.
Archery: Get ready for hunting season by using one of the archery ranges with targets and raised platforms.
X-C Skiing: The cross-country ski trails are expertly groomed and tracked weekly for both skating and diagonal techniques. There are 3 loops that total 4.5 miles on gently rolling terrain.
Sledding: Bring your kids for a great winter experience - sledding!
Picnic Areas: Reservation Request
Three reservable picnic areas are available throughout the park.
Building Rentals: Reservation Request The Recreation Center, equipped with kitchen, meeting room, and overnight facilities, is available to rent for small parties, meetings and scout outings. This building is located with easy access to the sledding hill, X-C ski trails, and archery range.
The Beach House can be rented for private parties in the off-season (Sept. - mid/May). This heated facility has a refrigerator, stove, sink, indoor restrooms, and fireplace.
Camp Pow Wow Lodge is available to rent when Camp Pow Wow is not in session. It is a unique area in Menomonee Park specifically for the physically and mentally challenged citizens of Waukesha County. This summer camp is operated by the Waukesha County Association for the Rights of Citizens with Handicaps (ARCh), which organizes outdoor recreational programs and learning experiences.
