Park Location
Located in the City of Brookfield, this 173-acre park site consists of 128 acres of wetlands, which will be preserved and protected as a natural habitat and open space area. This habitat allows for many species of birds; Gold Finches and Indigo Buntings to name a few.

Park Amenities
The mile of paved trail curves around the quarry lake, with three wildlife-viewing areas, so you can stop to soak in the wonders of nature. The beauty and tranquility of this park offers a variety of recreational and open space opportunities.

RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Swimming: The spacious beach along the 25-acre lake has a beach house and concession stand that is open June thru August with lifeguards on duty daily.

Pedal Boating: Rent a pedal boat and take a leisurely cruise around the quarry lake. They are on a first come, first serve basis and are $8.00 an hour.

Scuba Diving: Explore the underwater world while scuba diving the lake. A permit and release form is required.

Fishing: Bring your fishing pole for an ideal family-oriented fishing opportunity. We encourage and support the catch and release of fish, so that many people can enjoy the excitement and thrill of catching fish from the lake. From the land you can catch Northern, Bass, Bluegill, Perch, or Crappies.

Walking: Walk the 0.9 mile paved trail that winds around the lake. Great for strollers and wagons. Stop at the three observation decks to soak in the natural beauty.

Biking: Bring your family for a bike ride around the one-mile paved trail.

Picnicking: Come for a quiet picnic at one of our family picnic areas or reserve a picnic area for your family reunion or business party.

Rollerblading: Enjoy rollerblading the paved trails. The gently flat trail is good for all levels of blading enthusiasts.

Picnic Area:Reservation Request 
One reservable picnic pavilion is available throughout the year, with electric, water, caterer's room, restrooms, fireplace, grill, and sand volleyball.

Building Rentals: Reservation Request
Fox Brook Lodge is reservable for private parties in the off-season (Sept. - mid/May). This heated, 100-person capacity facility includes a refrigerator, microwave, freezer, sink, indoor restrooms, patio, and fireplace.
