Welcome to the Waukesha County Parks linear trail system. Our 26 miles of unique and scenic recreational opportunities are great for hikers, bikers, runners, and horseback riders.

Through the winter months, these ungroomed trails are great for cross-country skiing and other non-motorized winter activities.

ALERT New Berlin Trail
Power lines will be removed and replaced along the New Berlin Trail between Lincoln Ave (by Cooper Power) to Calhoun Road.

Projected start date: Early 2015
Projected completion date: by Memorial Day

Most work will be undertaken along the edges of the trail; watch for signage and cones at these spots. No interruption of trail use is expected. Thank you!

ALERT Lake Country Trail Maintenance: 2014-15
American Transmission Company (ATC) will be replacing existing wires and structures along the Lake Country Trail. Portions of the trail will be closed periodically between October 2014 and April 2015 to accommodate the movement of crews and equipment. Click for ATC's schedule and project information.
