What we do

The Waukesha County Communications Center (WCC) is a 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and Dispatch Center for 29 communities within Waukesha County and was the first PSAP to implement Wireless 9-1-1 with the new Phase I & II technologies.

The communications center is staffed with 42 telecommunicators who are divided into three different functions; call takers, police dispatchers and fire dispatchers.  Each shift has two supervisors providing 24x7 coverage and four administrative personnel.
